Who operates these sites
My Family My Money operates MyFamilyMyMoney.com and MiFamiliaMiDinero.com. Both provide financial education for adults and families living in the United States. This policy covers both websites. Last updated: October 5, 2026.
Information collected when you visit
Cloudflare hosts and delivers the websites. Hosting and security services may process your IP address, browser information, requested pages, and request timestamps to deliver content and help prevent abuse.
Google Analytics and cookies
We use Google Analytics 4 on our production domains to understand visits, pages viewed, traffic sources, and interactions such as download-link clicks where measurement is enabled. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects device/browser information and site activity. Google states that GA4 does not log or store individual IP addresses. Our tag disables Google signals and advertising personalization. We do not intentionally send names, email addresses, checkup answers, account numbers, SSNs, or ITINs to Google Analytics.
Your checkup and spreadsheets
The checkup runs in your browser. Its answers are not saved or transmitted by the checkup code. You can download the budget spreadsheets without providing an email address. Information you enter in a downloaded spreadsheet stays in your copy; it is not uploaded to us. A download-link click may be measured separately from the spreadsheet contents. If you upload a spreadsheet to a cloud application, that application’s own policies apply.
Email and contacting us
If you email us, we receive your address, message, and any information you choose to include. We use this information to respond and handle requests. Please do not send account numbers, government identifiers, financial statements, or other sensitive documents.
Planned newsletter through Brevo
Newsletter signup is not currently active. We plan to use Brevo to manage subscriptions and send emails. Before activating signup, we will update this policy to describe the information collected, confirmation process, email measurement, and subscriber choices. Disabled signup fields do not collect email addresses.
How information is used and shared
We use information to operate and protect the sites, understand readership, improve educational content, and answer messages. Cloudflare, Google, and our email service providers may process information for those purposes. We may disclose information when required by law or to protect legal rights and security. We do not operate a personal-information sales program or use the current site to serve personalized advertisements.
Retention and security
Contact messages are kept for the time needed to handle the request and related follow-up, and longer when needed for legal or security purposes. Analytics and hosting records are subject to provider controls and configured retention settings. Deleting browser cookies does not delete previously collected analytics records. We limit access to information used to operate the sites, but no transmission or storage method is completely secure.
Your choices and privacy requests
You can manage or delete cookies in your browser and use Google’s Analytics opt-out browser add-on. The current site does not provide a cookie-consent preference panel. Do Not Track browser signals do not automatically disable our analytics tag. Email [email protected] to ask about access, correction, or deletion of information you have provided. We will evaluate requests under applicable law and may need to verify them. Analytics identifiers may not allow us to identify a specific visitor.
Children and other websites
The sites are intended for adults, not directed to children under 13. Do not submit personal information about children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us. External websites have their own privacy practices; linking to them does not put them under this policy.
